Warner Home Video have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Doctor Zhivago on 4th May 2010. David Lean’s romantic epic film, adapted from Boris Pasternak’s Pulitzer Prize novel, arrives on 45th Anniversary Edition DVD ($24.98 SRP) and a premium Blu-ray Book ($35.99 SRP) boasting a new state-of-the-art restoration and brand new bonus content.

Both versions also include a new documentary on the legacy of the film while the Blu-ray Book also contains 44-pages of essays, cast photos, historical film facts and a CD with eight selections from the soundtrack.
