Universal Pictures have sent over artwork for the UK Region 2 DVD release of The Soloist which is expected to arrive on 1st February 2010. Based on the book by Los Angeles Times journalist Steve Lopez telling the story of how Lopez (Robert Downey Jr.) discovers former classical music prodigy Nathaniel Anthony Ayers (Jamie Foxx) playing his violin on the streets of L.A. and endeavours to help the troubled genius find his way back.

There is no Blu-ray Disc release planned for the UK.

Extras are TBC but the following content has already been passed through the BBFC:
